In this project we try to make people aware of the issue of unmotivated waste production, by applying methods based on design and re-languaging.

For this project I worked on concept developing, graphic design and video making and editing.

What is Waste-Ed.?
We are a group of people who organise creative pop-up events, parties and concerts with a unique vibe generated by the unpredictable and ever-changing themes we pick.
This is a space where people can gather to listen to music, play an instrument, drink with their friends, read, dance, or having life-changing talk with a stranger.
We build our spaces by using rescued items, things that are thrown out just because they need to be fixed or because they’re out of style.

We top this off by finding artists and musicians, or anyone who wants to express themselves and giving them the freedom to be part of a growing movement.

Do you want to participate? If you have suggestions or if you want to perform, just send us a message! Why Waste-Ed.?We walk around, find stuff, rescue it, upcycle it (if it needs to be) and create scenographies* for our events, which means that every outcome is special and unique as the vibes will go together with the surprising result of our mixing and matching. Our spaces grow organically with what we rescue and people’s interaction with it. And when the event is over? You take it apart, giving a new home to all the rescued item we gathered. All the furnitures and objects are free to take, collaborating in taking action against unmotivated waste production.Waste-Ed. stands for “waste education”, but we made it cool ;)
